This Camberwell Place laneway mural is inspired by the leafy, tranquil streets and parks of the Camberwell / Boroondara area. The composition comprises native flora and fauna common to the locale rendered down to colourful, abstracted forms. A butterfly bounces between Everlasting Daisies, and a New Holland Honeyeater reaches over a branch of Hickory Wattle to feed from a Fuchsia Flower. Glimpses at a figure can be seen, moving through and connecting with the drifting, natural forms; a hand on a leaf, engaging with a bird, pausing to take it all in.

Like a garden, the mural aims to provide a relaxing and energising space within the centre.

I respectfully acknowledge the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation, who are the traditional custodians of the land on which I live and work. Sovereignty was never ceded. I pay my respects to Elders past and present.
