Knox City Council commissioned a series of collaborative public artworks spanning four arcades in Boronia, Victoria. The resulting works are inspired by observations of the area and celebrate the everyday goings-ons in local shopping strips. A cup of coffee, piece of cake, walking the dog, getting a haircut, waiting for a bus, bumping into a friendly face — familiar and often overlooked, these simple everyday moments and small joys in community are what connect and keep us together.

The murals, decals and light box artworks incorporate visual elements from the facades, signs and architecture of the locale as well as shapes and forms alluding to the suburb's location at the base of Mt Dandenong.

I respectfully acknowledge the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation, who are the traditional custodians of the land on which I live and work. Sovereignty was never ceded. I pay my respects to Elders past and present.
